The injured man is currently unable to recall the incident and officers are now making an appeal for further witnesses.
It happened at approximately 7.05am on June 22 in Chairborough Road when the black Audi S4 Quattro crashed into the stationary van and the bus travelling in the opposite direction.
Investigating officer PC Danielle Layton of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, based at Amersham police station, said: “This is an investigation into an incident of dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
“I am aware that there is footage of the aftermath of this event circulating on social media and I would appeal for anybody who has any CCTV or dash-cam footage of the incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.

“You can also make a report online, or for 100% anonymity, call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
“I believe there were numerous witnesses to this collision who have not yet come forward, and a specific person is the driver of a Vauxhall Zafira, who I believe will have been a witness to the dangerous driving incident and the physical altercation.
“Any calls to the police will be treated in the strictest confidence, and so anybody with any information are urged to please get in touch with us.”
