Dozens of roundabouts in Wycombe have been given a patriotic makeover ahead of England’s Euro 2020 football match tomorrow.
A red cross has been daubed onto a number of roundabouts in and around the town in a cheeky tribute to the national football team ahead of their crunch match at 8pm on Saturday.
It’s not clear who has been around painting the roundabouts to look like the St George's flag, but the sight has certainly cheered up drivers on their commute this morning.
Some of the roundabouts that have been painted include the one at the bottom of Treadaway Hill in Loudwater, one on Hughenden Avenue, at the top of Hicks Farm Rise and Hazlemere crossroads.
England will face Ukraine in the Euro 2020 quarter-finals in Rome after beating Germany 2-0 on Tuesday at Wembley.
Most people on social media were thrilled with the patriotic paint job, but some said it was a "distraction" for drivers.
We have asked Transport for Bucks what they think about the makeover.
