Officers from Thames Valley Police prevented an ‘organised car racing meet’ in Milton Keynes.
In the late hours of Saturday, June 26 and into the early hours of Sunday, June 27, the officers visited an undisclosed area of the town and quashed the meet up.

Tonight Roads Policing Officers disrupted an organised car racing meet and prevented the participants from establishing within Milton Keynes. These meets present a danger to other road users and those spectating.

In a brief tweet that was published at around 1am on June 27, Thames Valley Roads Policing said: “Tonight [June 26/27] Roads Policing Officers disrupted an organised car racing meet and prevented the participants from establishing within Milton Keynes.
“These meets present a danger to other road users and those spectating.
"We will continue to work to deter these meets in TVP.”
