This week we go to Penn and Tylers Green for Then and Now.
This first picture, from around the winter of 1950, looks east on Church Road. St Margaret’s Church and the Horse and Jockey pub can be seen on the southern side. The church and the pub are still there, but the road looks very different 71 years on.

This photo from the 1940s is taken a little further up Church Road and shows a view of St Margaret’s Church. The church is still a familiar sight.
