A former High Wycombe schoolboy will represent Team GB this summer at Tokyo 2020.
The ex-John Hampden student Liam Ansell has been called up to play for GB hockey.

He was a late injury call-up at the 2018 World Cup where he scored a number of goals as England finished fourth.
The 27-year-old scored on his international debut also won a bronze medal with England at the Commonwealth Games earlier that year.

He currently plays in the Men's England Hockey League Premier Division for Wimbledon after representing Wycombe at youth level.
After playing hockey locally he went on to play for East Grinstead, Surbiton, Den Bosch, Sheffield Hallam and even played for Dutch side Den Bosch in the 2015/16 season.
Liam’s late father Kevin ‘Fred’ Ansell was known to many as a local sporting legend.
The forward will be wearing Ansell on his shirt this summer with great pride during his achievement of a lifetime.
