A man has been arrested in connection with a murder investigation from 1987.
The 65-year-old man was arrested this morning (June 22) on suspicion of the murder of Shani Warren, whose body was found in a lake at Taplow in April 1987.
Millionaire's daughter Shani, 26, disappeared on Good Friday, April 17, 1987. She had been mowing the lawn at her home in Stoke Poges and had set off in her car to dispose of the grass cuttings at the compost heap at her parents’ home in Gerrards Cross. She never returned.
The next day, she was found dead in Taplow Lake. Before her body was found, a lorry driver saw her car parked in a lay-by nearby on the A4, where he was planning to park up for the night.
Her cause of death was drowning.
