Pedestrians and drivers have been urged to avoid Chalfont St Peter High Street due to flooding caused by a sewer leak.
A fire crew from Gerrards Cross was called to the scene at about 10am this morning over reports of flooding in the street.
Firefighters established that the flooding has been caused by a sewage leak and are working to assist Bucks Council and Thames Valley Police in their responses to the incident.
The High Street has been closed while efforts are made to address the floods.
Bucks Fire and Rescue has warned pedestrains to stay away from the incident and avoid coming into contact with the sewage.
