This week for Then and Now we take a look at High Wycombe town centre scenes from the 1930s.
This first photo from 1937 is a view from the west towards the Guildhall, of White Hart Street.
The streetscape has changed significantly in 84 years, as have the shops on White Hart Street.

This second picture, from October 1936, is of the Queen Victoria Road junction with the High Street and Easton Street.
The building still looks familiar but the shops have changed, with an estate agent, a tattoo parlour, nail bar and optometrist now having set up shop there.
