A man from Aylesbury has died following a crash near Newbury, Berkshire.
At around 6.55pm on Sunday (June 13) a motorcyclist lost control on the A34 northbound, where the A34 crosses under the M4 at Chieveley.
The rider, a man his 50s from Aylesbury, was riding a black Suzuki and wearing a black jacket, blue trousers, and a white helmet.
He sadly died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
No-one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Senior investigating officer, Sergeant Darren Brown of the Serious Collisions Investigations Unit based at Three Mile Cross, said: “Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this difficult time.

“We are carrying out a thorough investigation following this incident and are investing how the motorcyclist came to lose control and come off their bike.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to please come forward in order to assist us in our investigation.
“Additionally, we would ask anyone with a dash-cam who was travelling on the A34 at around 6.55pm near Chieveley, to please check their footage to see if it shows anything that may assist the investigation.”
