A disqualified van driver has been reported after he allegedly gave his friend’s details when he was stopped in Amersham.

Thames Valley Police’s Roads Policing Team said the “cheeky” motorist “tried to cover up the fact he was disqualified by giving his friend’s details”.

They added: “Unfortunately for him, he had very distinctive tattoos so his true identify and driving status was revealed.

“Driver reported to court to explain himself and van seized.”
