High Wycombe residents near the scene of a huge fire are being asked to close their doors and windows.
Police have asked people living in Deeds Grove to close all doors and windows “due to wind direction and smoke”.
And Bucks Fire and Rescue said on social media: “Multiple appliances and crews are currently dealing with a warehouse fire at Cressex Business Park in High Wycombe.
“If you live nearby, we recommend you keep doors and windows closed.”
It comes after residents reported hearing explosions at the Cressex industrial estate this afternoon and saw thick black smoke billowing out from a building.
Eyewitnesses have seen several fire engines at the scene and police are asking people to stay away as firefighters battle the blaze.
Reporter Matt Joy, who is at the scene, said police are not sure when Lincoln Road will reopen and people working on the estate will be allowed to go back to work.
