Four members of the same family have admitted conspiring to commit fraud by selling puppies.
Margaret Cawley, John Cawley, Joseph Cawley snr and Annalise Cawley, all of the traveller site in Willen Road, Newport Pagnell, each pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation.
James Yeboah, of Avon House in Milton Keynes, also pleaded guilty to the same offence at Aylesbury Crown Court yesterday (Tuesday).
The court heard how the group had conspired together and with others by selling puppies in Milton Keynes between March 2019 and November 2020 and making false representations about the “condition” of the animals to make a gain for themselves.
The Cawleys and Yeboah will appear at court on August 5 and August 6 for sentencing.
