Two cars were caught speeding in and around the rural areas of Milton Keynes over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Conducted by Thames Valley Police officers, the two drivers that were reported for exceeding the limit have since been reported, with a third ticket being issued to a motorist who had a non-compliant number plate.

Thames Valley Police Milton Keynes then revealed that there reports of ‘anti-social behaviour from vehicle noise on the H3 up to Chichley Hill’.

TVP MK confirmed in a Facebook post that, ‘Officers from #MKNorth Neighbourhood team deployed to the area and issued Fixed Penalty notices to enforce the PSPO (Public Spaces Protection Orders).’

They also said: “SC 8269 Ouellette and SC 8384 Mottram conducted speed enforcement across the #MKNorth rural areas.

“Following this, SC Ouellette, SC Mottram and PS 6187 Pearce conducted foot patrol in Olney to address [anti-social behaviour] and provide reassurance.

“It was great to see members of the community supporting local businesses and enjoying a game of rugby.

“Please continue to report such incidents in your areas for us to monitor and assess demand needs.”

The incidents all happened on Saturday, May 29.
