A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a pedestrian in an apparent "hit-and-run" in High Wycombe.
A 56-year-old man died when he was hit by a car in Hughenden Avenue late on Thursday, May 20.
Thames Valley Police said the driver of the car did not stop at the scene.
A man, aged 59 and from High Wycombe, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He has been released under investigation.
The victim has not been named by police, who say they will only release those details if the family asks them to.
