A woman in her seventies has been left seriously injured in a crash on the A40 in Beaconsfield.
The busy A-road was shut for hours on Thursday afternoon following a smash at the Potkiln Lane junction at around 12.25pm.
A silver Honda Jazz and a black Nissan Navara crashed into each other, leaving the Jazz driver - a woman in her seventies - with serious injuries.
No one else was injured.
Police are investigating the crash and want to hear from anyone with information or dash-can footage.
Investigating officer, PC Jess Barker, of the Roads Policing Unit in Taplow police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this road traffic collision, during which a woman aged in her seventies sustained serious injuries requiring hospital treatment.
“I’d specifically appeal to anyone who has a dashcam and was travelling on the A40 at or near to the time of this collision, to please review it and contact us with any information.
“Anyone who can help is asked to report online, or call 101 and quote reference 43210229525.”
