A man has been jailed for breaching a civil injunction that banned him from an area of High Wycombe.
A civil injunction against Sukhpal Singh, 42, was put in place to protect the public from "serious anti-social behaviour", but he breached it.
On April 30, he was found at a house in Oakridge Road - but that was within the exclusion zone detailed in the civil injunction against him.
Back in December, he was banned from the Oakridge and Abbey areas of the town until the end of 2022.
On Tuesday, May 25, he was jailed for 20 weeks at Luton County Court.
Investigating officer PC Abhi Bajwa, of the Problem Solving Team, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “Achieving a custodial sentence in court shows how seriously the police take these injunctions and how we place great emphasis on enforcing orders introduced to protect the public.
“In this case, protecting the public from potentially being subject to serious anti-social behaviour caused by Singh.”
