Applicant: 'We will typically use three scooters at any one time for pizza deliveries'
There is no mention in council documents of exact new employee numbers, however a planning statement suggests most outlets “can provide up to 20 jobs”.
Proposed opening hours will be from 8am to 11pm, Sunday to Thursday and Bank Holidays, and from 8am to 1am, Fridays and Saturdays.
Home delivery vehicles will park at the rear, according to a planning statement, and “the applicant will typically use three scooters at any one time for pizza deliveries”.
The owner, believed to be at Unit 6 Anglo Office Park, White Lion Road, Amersham, has been notified.
Papa John’s was founded in 1984 in Indiana, USA. It is now one of the largest pizza groups in the world, with more than 4,000 outlets in 36 countries.
In the UK, Papa John’s (GB) Ltd operates approximately 400 outlets nationwide.
Bucks Council validated the application on May 20.
