Ricky Gervais has been spotted in Beaconsfield once again filming the latest series of Netflix show After Life.
The Office star was seen outside of Beaconsfield Old Town Registration Office in Windsor End this morning (Wednesday) shooting the third season of the comedy drama.
Crews were filming a scene with Mr Gervais in the doorway of the registry office, which is used as the set for the Autumnal Leaves Care Home in the series, where Tony Johnson’s dementia-suffering father lives.
Pedestrians were asked to keep their distance while crews were filming on the pavements, and signs were put up in the area asking people to keep away from the film crews while they were working.
Between shoots, Mr Gervais was happy to pose for selfies with passers-by.
This isn’t the first time the comedy star has been seen filming in the ‘million-pound’ town. Less than a month ago film crews were pitched up on the other side of the same street, shooting in the grounds of St Mary’s and All Saints Church.
Marlow resident Mr Gervais plays local newspaper reporter Tony Johnson in the show, who struggles to come to terms with his wife’s death.
The comedian and actor was born in Reading, and can often be seen in the Bucks and Berkshire area.
Although it is well known that filming for After Life season three is underway, Netflix has yet to confirm when the show will be aired.
