A national car hire firm has been fined thousands of pounds for failing to provide the police with details of drivers who may have committed offences.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car UK Ltd has been convicted at High Wycombe Magistrates Court eight times since December last year for failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver or rider when required by police.
The firm, based in Vicarage Road in Egham, has been fined a total of £5,910 for the offences, as well as being ordered to pay a further £1,136 costs to the court.
Enterprise has branches in Aylesbury and High Wycombe.
The company was most recently in court on Monday, May 6, where it was found guilty and sentenced in its absence.
