A former clothes shop in Beaconsfield New Town is being transformed into a Mediterranean restaurant and cocktail bar.
The former Phase Eight store in Station Road is being overhauled into Tarrus, a restaurant serving Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine.
The unit is still boarded up at the moment, but signs at the front suggest it will also feature a "creative" cocktail bar and will serve prime cut dry aged steak and complimenting wines.
It is not clear yet when the new restaurant will open - an Instagram page that was set up for Tarrus has no posts yet.
Steak Shell Ltd, a new company set up in February this year, has applied for a premises licence for the restaurant, which is at 1-2 Burke's Court, to sell alcohol.
They want to sell booze to be consumed on and off the premises between 11am and midnight, Sunday to Thursday, and 11am to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
They are also applying for a late night refreshment licence to provide alcohol between 11am and midnight, Sunday to Thursday, and 1pm to 1am on Friday and Saturday.
Anyone can comment on the premises licence application by emailing licensing.csb@buckinghamshire.gov.uk before June 2.
