Four months after being named one of the worst places to live in the country, it looks like this Bucks town has had a change in fortune.
At the start of January, Aylesbury was named the 18th worst place to live in England according to the satirical wesbite, ‘I Live Here’, with Slough and Reading from neighbouring Berkshire, and Didcot in Oxfordshire also being included on the list.

However, it looks like Aylesbury has turned a corner because according to the bingo site www.mrq.com, the town has been ranked as ‘the fifth luckiest place’ to live in the UK due to the amount of winnings that have been collected in the area.
Another Bucks town that is on the list is Milton Keynes, as they are ranked in joint 18th.
The list is based on how many wins have been declared based on the selected area’s population, per 100,000 people.
