With news this week that the historic Bulstrode mansion is being turned into a luxury hotel, we have unearthed pictures of well-known Gerrards Cross buildings.
This first photo is from June 1971 and shows the old Midland Bank, at the junction of Ethorpe Crescent and Packhorse Road.
It is now a Strutt & Parker estate agent.

This second picture from around 1930 shows the the then-recently rebuilt Bull Hotel, in Oxford Road.
The building and signage looks more modern today.
