A man was threatened with a knife in an attempted robbery in Milton Keynes.
At around 10.50pm on Sunday, April 25, a 34-year-old man was walking on the redway under the V6 between Leadenhall and Bleak Hall when he was approached by three men.
One of the men told him to hand over his phone and when the man refused, a knife was pulled out.
The 34-year-old punched the man with the knife before was then hit by another member of the group.
The man then punched the second person who hit him as well, before all three men ran off in the direction of Bleak Hall Industrial Estate.
The 34-year-old suffered minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
Nothing was stolen during the incident.

The first person has been described as a white man in his late teens, around 5ft 10ins tall and was seen wearing a black hooded top and a black balaclava.
The second person has been described as a stocky man in his late teens, approximately 5ft 8ins tall and was seen wearing dark clothing and a black balaclava.
The third person has been described as a man wearing a black balaclava.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Susan Russell, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed or has footage of this incident, or who has any information about these men, to come forward.

“I am also appealing for information about a silver Audi A3 with a registration starting with KN08, that may have been involved with this incident.
