Two drivers will face ‘serious penalties’ after they were caught driving at speeds of over 100mph.
Thames Valley Police Roads Policing confirmed on Friday, April 30 that two motorists were clocked on the M40 at excessive speeds on April 28 and April 29.

One of the drivers was seen going at 122mph on the M40 J3-1A on April 29, when the day before, another motorist was seen exceeding speeds of 101mph on the M40 J5-4 in wet conditions.

Two motorists were stopped on the M40 travelling over 100mph. They were reported to court and now face serious penalties.

In a brief tweet, TVP Roads Policing said: “Two motorists were stopped on the M40 travelling over 100mph.
