LOCAL elections are nearly upon us, and as Buckinghamshire residents prepare to cast their votes on May 6, the Free Press has compiled a list of formerly Bucks County councillors who will not be standing.

Among the 13 retirees who will not stand for election in a weeks’ time, three have totted up more than 20 years of service and one has amassed 40.

Here’s the list of names you won’t see during the election:

The list was published during a full council meeting, on April 21.
