The county is home to many famous faces that have dominated several industries such as sports, film, theatre, entertainment, and music.
Some of these people have played at the highest level possible in football, have starred in blockbusters, and have achieved several number ones in the charts.

However, are you familiar with some of the people that live in the county?
Today, we’re going to look at five singers/musicians who live in Buckinghamshire and you may be surprised by who is residing in the county.
Number 5: Jay Kay (Jamiroquai): Horsenden
The 51-year-old, who is originally from Stretford, is best known for being the lead singer and founder of jazz-funk band, Jamiroquai.
He currently resides in the hamlet of Horsenden, which is around one mile away from Princes Risborough.

However, his home, which has its own recording studio, was burgled in November 2018, where his housekeeper noticed that an upstairs window was open.
It was later revealed that a camera had been stolen from the property by three men, who took items from other houses belonging to millionaires across the country.

These people included Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling and former Bury chairman, Steve Dale, who live in the north of the country.
Kay moved into the area in 1995 and in 2020, he submitted plans for his Horsenden home to be extended.
Number 4: Barry Gibb (The Bee Gees): Beaconsfield
A member of one of the greatest bands to have ever dominated the charts on an international scale, Barry Gibb is the final living member of the ever-popular Bee Gees.

Taking the world by storm with his late brothers in Maurice and Robin, the trio topped the charts in numerous countries with hits such as ‘I Started a Joke’, ‘I’ve Gotta Get a Message to You’, ‘Jumbo’, ‘Stayin’ Alive’, ‘Night Fever’ and ‘Tragedy’ to name just a few.
And little would you know that Barry, with all his success, resides in Beaconsfield, as well as his home in Miami, Florida in the US.
At the age of 74, Barry is still performing and in 2002, he was awarded a CBE and in 2018, he was given a knighthood.
Number 3: Liam Payne (One Direction): Chalfont St Peter
The 27-year-old was propelled to the international stage in 2010 when Simon Cowell decided to form the boyband in One Direction, with five solo artists who auditioned for that year’s X Factor.

The instant success of the group made them household names, as they sold millions of records albums worldwide, which saw four of their five albums top the charts in the UK and US respectively.
They also embarked on numerous tours across the world.
Their lucrative efforts allowed the boyband to buy luxury properties across the globe, with Payne, who is originally from Wolverhampton, currently living in a rented mansion in the village of Chalfont St Peter with his fiancé, 20-year-old model, Maya Henry.

He has reportedly put his properties in Surrey and in California on the market.
Number 2: Cheryl (Girls Aloud): Chalfont St Peter
The Geordie-born singer is best known for being in the girl band Girls Aloud, which won the talent show, Pop Idol, in 2002.
As well as achieving monumental success with the group, she has also enjoyed a very good solo career, scoring five UK number ones.

She has also made the headlines for her highly documented personal life, as she was once married to former Arsenal and Chelsea left-back, Ashley Cole, before being in a relationship with Liam Payne, who she has a child with.
Cheryl currently lives in Chalfont St Peter in a property that was partly paid for by her ex-boyfriend Payne, with the One Direction singer renting a mansion in the village with his fiancé to be closer to his infant son, Bear.
She has reportedly lived in the area since 2019.
Number One: Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne: Jordans
One of the world’s most recognizable celebrity couples, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, who have taken the music and reality television industries by storm, reside in a multi-million-pound mansion in Jordans, which has made national headlines.

In November 2004, the couple’s home was raided by thieves who stole over £1m worth of jewels, which included Sharon’s diamond wedding ring.
Other pieces of jewellery, which included a pearl necklace and a 24-carat sapphire, as well as watches, were stolen in the break-in 17 years ago.
Following the incident, she made an appeal on the then BBC show Crimewatch and offered £100,000 reward for information.

Just short of seven years later in July 2011, it as revealed her diamond ring had been found with her daughter Kelly, confirming the news on Twitter.
