An Aylesbury woman has set up a fundraising page for one of her ‘closest friends’ who has been diagnosed with terminal breast cancer.
Amy Grace Rose D'Archambaud set up the Go Fund Me at the end of March, with the hope of raising £7,000 for her friend, Jackie Cole.
Jackie, 36, has been fighting the illness since January 2019 and despite undergoing numerous invasive surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation, she was given the all clear.
However, the cancer ‘came back with vengeance’, with Jackie’s consultant oncologist revealing that she has got ‘less than 12 months’ to live.

This has led to the Go Fund Me page being set up, with £3,430 being raised so for Jackie.
On Facebook, Amy said: “I have started a fundraiser for one of my closest friends, the godmother of my daughter, and an absolutely amazing woman who has fought so hard.
“Life can be so unfair, and you don't deserve any of this, the way you have coped so far is beyond me.
“If anyone can contribute anything it would help this family to get some long-lasting memories of a potential last Christmas.”
Jackie has five daughters whose ages range from eight to 18 with her husband, Matt, ‘giving up his job of eight years (that he loved) to look after’ his family.
A segment from the Go Fund Me reads: “Should Covid stop foreign travel then, I would like to send them on as many trips/activities as I can, to make as many memories possible for the children.
“Should Covid stop foreign travel then I would like to send them on as many trips/activities as I can, to make as many memories possible for the children.
“If the worse was to happen before they get to do anything then I would like to put the money into savings for the children.
“Watching the family go through everything is one of the hardest things to have to watch. They are always smiling and trying to make the most of a very bad situation.
“I feel they truly do deserve this.
“Any amount will help but even if you are not able to donate, please can you share the link.”
