Firefighters from High Wycombe, Beaconsfield and Wycombe Air Park's own fire crew all dashed to the scene to help.
The plane's nose was destroyed in the landing.
The pilot was left in the care of the ambulance service but Bucks Fire and Rescue said they were not believed to have been injured.
Firefighters used foam to deal with a spill of around 100 litres of fuel.
A dog-walker who was in the area around 20 minutes after the controlled crash said: "There was no fire and the plane was the correct way up, so I'm hoping the occupants are safe."
We have contacted the Air Accidents Investigations Bureau (AAIB) to see if they are carrying out an investigation.
