A new Italian restaurant has opened for al fresco dining in the heart of High Wycombe today.
Cafe Roberto has opened up in White Hart Street, in the old Ottakar's book store site.
The sun is shining for Cafe Roberto's opening day, with shoppers able to walk up and take a seat outdoors.
The full restaurant is set to open on May 17 serving authentic Italian cuisine.

Breakfast will be served until 11.30am every day, with dishes like traditional English breakfast (£8.50), Halal breakfast (£8.50), filled croissants (£4.95), breakfast ciabatta (£5.95) and avocado and poached eggs on toast (£8.25).
Classic Italian dishes include Spaghetti Bolognaise (£9.50), Penne Con Pollo (£9.50), Risotto Contadina (£10.50) and meat or vegetarian lasagne (£8).
There is also stone baked Italian pizza on offer, salads and filled baked potatoes.
From the grill, you can order steak baguettes (£10.90), lamb cutlets (£10.95) or a variety of burgers.
There is plenty of coffee, tea and ice cream milkshakes on the menu too.
The former Ottakar’s book store was in a poor state after years of neglect by an offshore absentee landlord and was described as an "eyesore" by Wycombe councillors.
When it finally went up for sale in 2019 the then Wycombe District Council moved quickly to buy it in a bid to revamp it, announcing in January this year that new tenants would be moving in.
