Huge plans for a new residential development that would include the conversion of a church in Chalfont St Peter have been submitted to the council.
This scheme aims to convert the Gold Hill Baptist Church, with supporting new residential buildings within the surrounding site to the rear of the church.
Planning permision was granted back in 2018 for the demolition of extensions to the main chuch building, alongside converting it into six apartments and erecting four houses and two new apartments on the ground.
Developers have now proposed a new scheme, that would comprise of 18 residential properties (seven of which being one-bedroom, seven being two-bedroom and four being three-bedroom).
Again, permission has been sought to convert the church building into six apartments.
The new plans include proposals to construct two new 'mews' houses' to the north of the church.
A new terrace could also be built with four houses to the south of the church.
Lastly, developers hope to use the space vacated by demolishing buildings on the site to create an apartment block of six flats.
