A “MAJOR” retailer is set to take over three units at a retail park in Bucks, ensuring new job creation.
A mystery retail company has struck a deal with Bucks Council for space at the Vale Retail Park in Aylesbury, according to council documents.
Although the name of the company remains commercially private at this time, the council did confirm the new tenant would “create new jobs” for the area.

In addition to the new retailer, talks are also underway for a smaller unit at the retail park, for which the council said it is receiving “strong interest”.
As part of this move, “improvements to the frontage and car park” are also planned.
All changes are subject to planning approval.

“Terms have been agreed with a major retailer to take space at units 1, 2 and 3 at Vale Retail Park, subject to planning approval,” the report states.
“The council will combine the three retail units whilst also retaining a smaller unit to let separately and undertake improvements to the frontage and car park.
“The letting will secure a significant income for the council at the retail park and create new jobs. There is already interest in the smaller unit.”
A Bucks Council spokesman said: “While the terms of the agreement remain confidential, it’s an exciting letting for the council that we believe will reinvigorate the retail park.
“The smaller unit remains available to let and we have already had strong interest in it. We are hopeful of securing another letting soon.”
