PLANS to convert a now vacant hairdressers to a takeaway have been submitted to the council.
Mr George James has submitted to Bucks Council a part retrospective change of use application for Dapper Cuts, on Marlow Road, in High Wycombe.
His intention is to convert the site, which is part of the parade of shops on Marlow Road, into a hot food takeaway.

Works have already begun, according to a council document.
The installation of an extraction vent and ducting system is also proposed, as is a small indoor area for seating, and new signage.
Its proposed opening hours will be 11am-11pm, daily.

A design and access statement reads: “Introducing a hot food takeaway along the parade will encourage footfall, enhance the vitality and viability of the area and make better use of a property that is currently vacant.”
The applicant is now ‘awaiting a decision’ from Bucks Council.
