Residents have expressed their shock after video footage shows a man allegedly trying to open the doors of several vehicles in the middle of the night.
Two concerning videos show a man walking onto a number of private properties in Sharp Close in Aylesbury at around 3.30am on Tuesday, April 13.
The man allegedly tried the doors of vehicles on approximately seven driveways.
One of the residents from the street who wanted to remain anonymous, said: “It is really concerning to see this, especially on such a quiet street.
“Hardly anything like this happens here [in Sharp Close].
"It is quite scary to see someone trying to open car doors in the middle of the night.
“It is the fact that this person seems to be trying his luck by going onto different drives to check if our cars are unlocked.
“We’re all in bed and this is going on quite literally on our doorstep, just a few hundred yards away from where we are sleeping.

The public is urged to contact the police if they see similar incidents in their respective streets across the county.
