Buckinghamshire Council deals with thousands of planning applications every year.
They range from house owners wanting to build an extension to new homes, shops, businesses and even chopping down trees.
Here are four of the most interesting projects announced last week. The council will now consider whether each should go ahead.
Site of Former Park and Ride facility, Crest Road, High Wycombe
An application has been put forward for the commercial development of five new buildings.
These would comprise of eight ‘flexible use units’ which would be used for light industrial, general industrial and storage and distribution purposes.
Offices, associated parking and landscape planning and the provision of a new vehicle access onto Crest Road has also been included in the plans.
Garages, Foxes Piece, Marlow
A new block of residential properties could be built in Marlow.
Developers hope to use the site to erection of a block of 12 new flats, six of which being one-bedroom and six of which being two-bedroom.
Included in the plans is the creation of 47 associated residents and neighbourhood parking spaces, associated hard and soft landscaping and bin stores.
Abercromby Works, Abercromby Avenue, High Wycombe
A substantial increase in office space could be generated in Wycombe with this refurbishment.
The developers wish to demolish building 1B and partly refurbish building 1A to provide a total of 4,143 square metres of flexible employment floorspace.
This is together with the creation of a new vehicular access via Abercromby Avenue, improvements to the existing vehicular access from Oakridge Road, provision of car and cycle parking, service yard, landscaping and other associated works.
140 Marlow Bottom Road, Marlow Bottom
Developers hope to demolish the existing dwelling and garage that are currently on the site in order to build a a pair of semi detached houses - alongside creating new access to the properties.
