Primark is offering extended opening hours as it reopens its shops in Bucks from today.
The retailer is taking up the Government’s offer of staying open for longer in an effort to reduce queues and give customers more space and time to shop safely.
For the first week initially, stores will open for two extra hours per day on average, typically an hour earlier and later, with times varying by store.
Primark chief executive Paul Marchant said: “Safety remains at the front of our minds.
“We have extended opening hours across almost all of our stores to help meet demand safely but we’re also asking our customers to keep up the support and spirit they showed last year, particularly if queuing outside or in-store.”
Primark has confirmed opening hours for its shops in Buckinghamshire.
The High Wycombe store opened its doors at 8am today (April 12), and will stay open until 7pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and 8pm on Thursday.
The Milton Keynes store in the MK1 shopping park will open from 8am-10pm Monday-Saturday, and the branch in Silbury Arcade will open from 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and 8am-7pm on Saturday.
Due to Sunday trading laws, the stores will be open from 10.30am to 11.00am for browsing only, with customers able to buy goods from 11am-5pm in all stores.
