A fun family Easter weekend activity is launching today.
Beaconsfield's first big Easter egg hunt gets underway today, running in the town until April 19.
It has been created by the PTA at Butlers Court School, with three trails around Beaconsfield Old Town, New Town and Holtspur to enjoy.
The trails will lead you on the hunt for Easter eggs hidden in shop windows, homes and gardens.
All you need to go is find an egg, scan its QR code and directions will be given to the next egg and a letter for a secret word or phrase.
All of the trails are circular.
Residents in the local areas of the trails can even create an egg to be included - all they need to do is go to the relevant page, whether it's Old Town, New Town or Holtspur, and sign up.
Awards will be given for the egg on each trail which is biggest, most colourful and most creative.
Sponsor of the New Town trail, Hitchambury Homes, is setting the bar with Eggie the Eagle.
Eggie has been lifted into his temporary home on Chiltern Hills Road by a crane.
At the end of each trail you can enter the secret code and pay £2 to enter a competition to win prizes.
All proceeds from the competition go to the town's three state primary schools - Butlers Court School, Holtspur School and St Mary & All Saints School.
