Wycombe Wanderers will face Blackburn Rovers on Friday at Adams Park for the first time ever in the club's history.

Gareth Ainsworth is hoping to have more or less a full squad to pick from against his boyhood club.

Jordan Obita is the only long term-injury with the manager thinking it is unlikely he will feature.

There was more optimistic news about David Wheeler who could be in contention to play a part over the Easter weekend

Ainsworth said: “We've got a good squad.

“I think the treatment room is quite bare so that is good.

“There are one or two little knocks but we are hoping the likes of David Wheeler will be close.

“Jordan Obita will probably miss out but he's the only long-term one we've got at the moment, which is great.

“So we're looking forward to picking from a full squad.”

On the other hand, Blackburn are waiting to make a decision on the fitness of their leading goal scorer Adam Armstrong who is in doubt for the game.

The Lancashire side has also been dealt with another long-term injury of talisman Bradley Dack who suffered his second ACL injury last month.
