A TSB branch in Princes Risborough will close permanently at the end of March.
The outlet on the Market Square within the town will shut its doors for good on Wednesday, March 31, after the bank confirmed that more of their customers are banking digitally, rather than in person.
In a statement, they said: “We’ve looked carefully at our Princes Risborough branch at Market Square, Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, HP27 0AS and how it is used, and we’ve taken the decision to close it.
“The way customers bank with us is rapidly evolving with the vast majority of everyday transactions now being done digitally.

“Over 2.1 million of our customers now choose to bank online, and over 1.3 million use our Mobile Banking App.
“Even prior to Covid-19, customers were choosing other ways to bank with us, with 50 per cent using services at our cash machines, and 20 per cent using a Post Office®.
“Over 190,000 customers have been supported through our new online chat service, helping them with queries and other services.”
Following the revelation, TSB have revealed which branches their customers could attend if they would like to bank in person, as well as make deposits or withdrawals.
These branches include the Aylesbury outlet, which is roughly a 20-minute drive away from Princes Risborough.
Other branches TSB customers could use if they want to visit an outlet are the following:
