An investigation has been launched after a teenage boy was reportedly attacked by a gang of youths in Thame.
At around 11.30am last Thursday (March 18), the victim was walking along the Phoenix Trail behind Lord William’s school, near Maple Road, when he was approached by between 10 to 15 teenage boys.
Police said the boys then attacked him by stamping and kicking him until he was unconscious.
The boy suffered a concussion, chipped teeth and multiple cuts and bruises.

He was taken to Stoke Mandeville hospital and has since been discharged.
Police said the attackers were all teenage boys aged between 15 and 16.
A 16-year-old boy from Thame and a 15-year-old boy from Chinnor were arrested on suspicion of assault with injury and have been released on police bail.

Investigating officer PC Alan Rae, based at Thame police station said: “This was an isolated incident and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this, or has any information, to please get in touch.”
