According to the current government guidance, from April 12, restaurants and pub gardens will be allowed to serve customers sitting outdoors.
Which restaurants in Buckinghamshire will be reopening their doors to customers on that date?
We have compiled a list of some of the most popular restaurant and pub chains across the county and listed which will reopen for outdoor dining.
Wetherspoons
Pub gardens in Wetherspoons will reopen in three Buckinghamshire pubs next month.
The White Hart in Aylesbury, Captain Ridley’s Shooting Party in Milton Keynes and The Moon Under Water in Milton Keynes are all set to reopen.
TGI Fridays
Two TGI Fridays will be open for outdoor dining from April 12.
These are at the Milton Keynes Theatre and the Milton Keynes Stadium.
Nandos
The popular Piri Piri restaurant is yet to confirm which of it's restaurants will be reopening for dining in next month, although it has confirmed that several will reopen.
A statement on the company website says: "We might still be closed for Eat-in, but from the April 12 we’re reopening for outdoor eating across a number of our restaurants."
Greene King
Several Greene King pubs in our area are set to reopen next month.
These include The Marlow Donkey, The Shoulder of Mutton, The Old Fisherman and The Broughton Hotel.
Pizza Hut
The popular pizza restaurant has confirmed that three of it's restaurants in Bucks will be offering outdoor dining from next month.
Restaurants in Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes Westbrook and Wycombe Retail Park will all be open.
Miller and Carter
Miller and Carter Steakhouses will not reopen next month, but will be open for customers from May 17 according to their website.
Zizzi
Italian chain restaurant Zizzi have announced plans to open three of their restaurants in Bucks for outdoor dining next month.
Restaurants in Aylesbury, Marlow and Milton Keynes will all serve customers outside.
Byron
Byron in Milton Keynes has been confirmed as one of the 17 Byron restaurants reopening for customers next month.
KFC
With none of it's restaurants offering outdooor seating, no KFC restaurants will be available for dining in at until at least May 17.
The fast food giant does still offer drive thru and online delivery services.
