Firefighters were called to a blaze in a recycling building in Milton Keynes.
Three fire engines and crews from West Ashland, Broughton, Newport Pagnell and Aylesbury were called to the blaze at the Milton Keynes Waste Recovery Park, in Dickens Road, Old Wolverton, at 11.51pm yesterday (Monday).
They used four main jets, four sets of breathing apparatus, a turntable ladder and four fans to tackle the fire.
On-site machinery was also used to remove waste from the building.
A Bucks Fire spokesman said thankfully everyone in the building was accounted for.
They added: “The incident started to be scaled down at about 4am. Relief crews arrived to continue turning over waste and damping it down.”
