Residents waiting for a new dessert parlour in High Wycombe may not have to wait much longer.
Creams café, which submitted a planning application in January to convert the former William Hill betting shop, in White Hart Street, is expected to open during the Easter holidays, the BFP has learnt.
The well-known dessert chain advertised for full and part-time team members at the start of the year, saying the new café would be in White Hart Street, near Wimpy’s and Specsavers, and be open for delivery and click and collect only during the pandemic.

The arrival of the dessert parlour follows exciting announcements about other new businesses moving into the town, including burger chain Five Guys, bargain retailer B&M, and another Aldi and McDonald’s on the old Cressex Park and Ride.
Meanwhile, Creams’ arrival in the town centre looks imminent, with signage now having gone up above the shop.
The BFP has learnt the café will open sometime during the Easter holidays - possibly over the Easter weekend - for deliveries and collection only during the pandemic, but a date has not yet been revealed.

Currently, those looking for their Creams fix have to travel to Slough, Windsor, Reading or Uxbridge – but High Wycombe does have a Treatz dessert parlour in Oxford Street.
Creams was founded in 2008 and has around 90 stores across the UK.
