A survey has revealed what room Buckinghamshire residents would decorate first when moving into their new home.

The property developers believe this is the case due to the pandemic, as households have spent more time together following the numerous lockdown restrictions.
Alison Raine, Sales Director at Barratt Homes Northampton, said: “It’s no surprise to see the living room is the priority room to decorate among Buckinghamshire residents as being able to relax together as a couple or a family is crucial to ensure a comfortable household.
“With people spending a lot more time with those they live with since the beginning of the pandemic than with anyone else, we’re able to meet future residents’ needs through a range of stellar living spaces with the opportunity to personalise to individual needs.

“For prospective buyers who’d like to see the space they’d spend the majority of their time in the home in, we’d encourage anyone interested to book an appointment with one of our Sales Advisers who can introduce them to their future new living room.”
