CCTV images have been released after a man was repeatedly punched by two others outside Specsavers in High Wycombe.
The victim knocked on the door of the White Hart Street branch at around 10.15am on Friday.
After a member of staff came to the door, the victim said he had an appointment.
Police said at that point, he was repeatedly punched by two men.
The attackers then fled on foot towards Church Street.
The victim also left the scene on a black bicycle and is yet to be identified, police said.

The victim is described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s. He was wearing a black hoodie, black jogging bottoms with white stripes down the side, and white trainers.

Police are urging the victim or anyone who knows him to come forward.
It is believed the victim may have travelled from the Frogmoor area of Wycombe to Specsavers with the two attackers.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “There were a number of witnesses to the incident who are yet to contact the police and would aid our investigation.”
