Plans to extend a converted office space in order to create nine more flats have been put forward to the council.
The site is located immediately opposite the Knaves Beech Business Centre in Loudwater.
Wooburn House in Boundary Road was formerly used as offices but was converted to house 12 apartments in 2014.
Developers now wish to extend the property further by two more storeys in order to create five two-bedroom flats on a second floor and two two-bedroom and two three-bedroom flats on the third floor.
In order to do this, the current existing pitched roof would be removed and replaced with a flat roof and terrace with guardrail.

Then, the second and third floor would be built on top.
Developers also wish to build a garden on the rooftop of the property.
Vehicular access to serve the development will use the existing two accesses either side of the building.
34 car parking spaces were originally provided to serve the building, but two of the existing flats have created fenced gardens - leaving 32 available car parking spaces.

Developers have stated that currently 14 of the spaces serve the existing 12 flats, leaving 18 car parking spaces to serve the proposed 9 dwellings.
One neighbour has refuted these claims in an objection posted online.
Concerns were raised by this neighbour not only about the parking provision but also floor plans, potential distractions for drivers passing by on the M40 and issues with drainage that the existing flats are reportedly already facing.
Arguing why the application should be given the green light, developers concluded: "Planning permission has already been granted to extend the building upwards.
"This application is similar to the concept of the previously approved scheme. It has been designed to ensure there are no adverse effects on residential amenity.
"It provides car parking in accordance with approved guidelines and the sustainable location of the site ensures residential development is appropriate in this location.
"The application has been designed so it integrates with the character and appearance of the area."
