The beginning of this week saw further coronavirus lockdowns restrcitions eased as we saw 'freedom day'.
This means fewer restrictions in restaurants so here is a choice of five great ones in the area that have landed rave reviews.
Prime Steak & Grill, Beaconsfield
Prime Steak & Grill is located in Beaconsfield new town and offers some of the best steaks around.
The Great British beef is exclusively sourced from the Scottish Highland by award-winning butchers, appointed by the Queen.
Steaks are aged for a minimum of 21 days to guarantee that they are tender and can be served to perfection
As well as great steak the restaurant boasts a 200 cover restaurant with a private dining room for 30 guests and a separate bar that can seat 60 people.
The bar sits in the middle of the room allowing guests to enjoy the atmosphere while sipping a cocktail or two.
Prime is quickly becoming nationally recognised as it has been named the top 100 Restaurants in UK for the past two years running.
Lata Lata, High Wycombe
A relatively new restaurant but Lata Lata offers some great small plates and a menu that changes over the season it’s an excellent place to go if you fancy tapas.
In Wycombe’s town centre, the restaurant opened in 2018 and was named runner up in The Observer'sfoodmonthly' awards.
They offer simple dishes with a Mediterranean feel, which can be enjoyed inside or can be grabbed underneath Wycombe’s underpass hatch by Bucks New University.
Dolce Vita, Wooburn Green
If you fancy Italian then Dolce Vita is defiantly where you want to go.
Based in Wooburn Green the restaurant offers pizza and pasta among a full range of Italian cuisine.
The restaurant is currently offering takeaway during the pandemic but will look to open its doors as soon as restrictions allow.
One review read: “We have finally been to Dolce Vita and wish we had been sooner! We were blown away by the fantastic food and loved the whole feel of the place - the staff was excellent and so accommodating.”
The Hand and Flowers, Marlow
Tom Kerridge’s The Hand & Flowers is the only pub in the UK with two Michelin stars.
Located in the picturesque town of Marlow The Hand and Flowers is a traditional pub with state-of-the-art food.
A complete dining experience the restaurant offers a range of dishes that can't be found anywhere else.
Also looking for a staycation? The Hand & Flowers has 11 individually designed bedrooms, in three different cottages in the centre of Marlow (cooked breakfast is included in the morning!).
There is also ‘The Shed’, The Hand & Flowers’ intimate dining room for up to nine people; the perfect space for private dining, special occasions, or business meetings.
The Artichoke, Amersham
Michelin Star in 2020 and named un the Top 50 UK Restaurants Good Food Guide 2020 The Artichoke is somewhere to go for a great dining experience.
The restaurant was also listed in the UK Top 100 Restaurants Square Meal 2019 and named AA Restaurant of the Year for England 2013 - 2014.
Situated in the heart of the beautiful old town of Amersham, The Artichoke delivers the best innovative and refined dishes in modern European cuisine.
John Lanchester from the Guardian said: “It looked ravishing and tested just as good. Far be it from me to suggest that it’s the most fun you can have in Amersham with your clothes on”
