Here is a list of people who were jailed for crimes related to Buckinghamshire in February. 

Nathan Braim and Benjamin Eyles - 19 years and eight years

Braim and Eyles were given lengthy jail sentences for their involvement in the death of 19-year-old, Josh Harling.

Josh died in July 2020 after he was found in an upturned Volkswagen Polo in Chinnor Road, Thame, with serious injuries.

It was originally thought that the injuries were caused due a car crash, but the 19-year-old was found to have suffered a knife wound to his chest.

This had been caused by Braim in an incident just moments earlier.

Following a trial that lasted for seven weeks at Oxford Crown Court, Braim, 20, of Broadwaters Avenue, Thame, was convicted by unanimous jury verdict on February 18 of murder, conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon following a trial lasting seven weeks at Oxford Crown Court.

Eyles, 19, of Monks Hollow, Marlow Bottom, was cleared of murder, but was found guilty by unanimous jury verdict of manslaughter and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent.

Braim was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 19 years.

Eyles was sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment.

According to senior investigating officer detective inspector Mike Roddy, of Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit, ‘neither defendant has ever taken any responsibility for their actions that night of July 22’ and that Braim ‘refused to co-operate with police at any stage, and has shown no remorse whatsoever.’

Daniel Anderson - eight years

Anderson, 36, of no fixed abode, was jailed for eight years by a unanimous jury at Aylesbury Crown Court on February 12 for drug offences, dangerous driving, and possessing a stun device.

A video of Anderson was captured by police officers last May, when the authorities saw the culprit in his car near the centre of Aylesbury.

What followed was an incredible car chase, where Anderson drove all over the town and into surrounding villages to escape the police.

He also threw the drugs out of his car window when being chased.

Thankfully, nobody was injured on the road from the car chase, despite Anderson hitting a parked car in the pursuit.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Andy Hipwell based at Aylesbury police station, said: “He was attempting to sell his drugs on the streets of Aylesbury after travelling from Birmingham on the day of his arrest.”

Dillon Marrow - 20 years

Dillon Morrow, 26, of no fixed abode, but originally from Rugby, Warwickshire, was found guilty by a unanimous jury for attempted murder, following an incident in Aston Clinton, a village near Aylesbury.

In November 2019, he visited a home in the village where neighbours heard ‘shouting from inside the property.’

As this continued, a call to the police was made and after the officers forced entry into the house, Morrow was seen to have 'blood on his hands, face and clothing.’

The victim, a 37-year-old woman, was found upstairs on the floor of her bedroom covered in blood and unresponsive to officers.

She also had two black eyes.

Following the discovery, she was taken to hospital with severe facial injuries and extensive bruising to her neck, chest and body.

Her injuries included a fracture of the nasal bone, fracture of the right cheekbone and a fractured jaw, as well as bruising.

Case investigator Mandy Long of the Domestic Abuse Investigation Unit based at Aylesbury police station, said: “This was a horrific attack which has had a devastating impact on the victim.”
