Our Marlow pubs feature proved popular last week, so we continue to take a look at watering holes in the south of the county.
This week, we have unearthed pictures from Princes Risborough in the 1970s.
This first photo, from September 1974, shows the White Lion pub on the corner of the High Street and Bell Street.
The pub is now a flower shop.

The Bird in Hand, in Station Road, is seen in this second picture from May 1973.
According to its website, the pub is now a fully owned free house “for the first time in living memory”.
It was bought by Thame-based family-run pub company Oak Taverns in January 2019.
