Nine fire crews were called to the scene of a fire in the kitchen of a fourth-floor flat yesterday morning.
Fire crews received reports of the fire at around 8.24am at a property in Denham Lodge on Oxford Road in New Denham.

Two crews from Hillingdon, one from Gerrards Cross, one from Beaconsfield, one from High Wycombe, one from Slough, one from Langley and one from Maidenhead all attended the scene.
Five officers also responded to the report.

Attending firefighters used a main jet, four sets of breathing apparatus and a fan as they extinguished the fire.
The kitchen was severely damaged by fire and the flat was 50 per cent damaged by smoke.
