Lidl has submitted plans to open up in Marlow and residents are excited about the prospects of the famous middle aisle coming to town.
Waitrose closed its doors in October 2019 and the space has been empty ever since.
Now Lidl has submitted major plans which would extend the building onto Liston Road to increase the shop floor.

There has been a lot of excitement online from Marlow residents about having Lidls middle aisle nearby.
For anyone who doesn't know what Lidl's middle aisle is, it’s something worth experiencing as you never know what you could find.
And this is an experience that Marlow residents are looking forward to after news of the plans.

One resident has claimed it has “Everything you never knew you wanted.”
Others showed their excitement saying: “You have got to love the middle of Lidl”
Another added: “Yay I love a mooch in the ‘oh I've needed one of those’ middle aisles”
Whilst one resident declared his happiness of the supermarket could be opening up nearby.
They said: “Middle of Lidl in MARLOW!”

If the plans go through the ground floor would be the main shop with the first floor a staff room and warehouse.
Opening hours would 7am to 10pm.
The determination deadline for the application has been set for April 15.
